                              Garden today. Boston Bruins FC had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.

The following players had been chosen: Piwoński - Klanjčić, Doberstein, Callewaert - Andreasson, Lungu, Rørtveit, Udrescu, Morawiak - Boisio, Nurski.

Bogotá started off with a 3-4-3 lineup. They fielded: Pérez de Cuevas - Duch, Camelo, Abel - Wittendorff, Sipos, Piccardo, Sándor - Quinche, Buchholz, Candelo.

Boston Bruins FC took a creative approach on the field. Priding himself in being an active coach, the Boston Bruins FC manager gave new instructions to his players after 1 minutes. 1 minutes into the match, the Boston Bruins FC manager wanted to try a new tactic, and the players loyally obliged. Bogotá had a good opportunity to score the lead goal but the home team's goalkeeper Bartosz Piwoński saved Felipe Duch's shot that was headed for the top corner from the right. As neither team had managed to win, extra time was called. 92 minutes into the game, Bogotá's Rubén Candelo surprised the visitors with a raking cross-field pass to Gyula Sándor who easily found the back of the net, bringing the score to 1:2. What a dramatic win for Bogotá!

Boston Bruins FC's top performer was clearly Fredrik Jespersson. Cristiano Boisio was a disappointment, however. Bogotá's best player was Rubén Candelo. Gyula Sándor on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1:2.

   9.2.2012, played at Iron Maiden Stadium

   The 3510 spectators at Iron Maiden Stadium were in for an afternoon of

sunshine. A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Bogotá. Lineup: Galo - Duch, Camelo, Abel - Wittendorff, Sipos, Piccardo, Sándor - Quinche, Buchholz, Candelo.

IMFC started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Starters: Piwoński - Klanjčić, Alperovich, Pettinen - Andreasson, Musi, Lungu, Rørtveit, Boisio - Gradischnig, Nurski.

Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of IMFC. Priding himself in being an active coach, the IMFC manager gave new instructions to his players after 1 minutes. After 1 minutes, the IMFC coach had a quick word about the tactical set-up and decided to try another approach. The coach of IMFC wanted to try to change things around after 1 minutes, and gave new tactical instructions. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to Marcell Sipos, but the Bogotá player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1:0! With 34 minutes played, the visitors could have scored the tying goal after Cristiano Boisio came through the middle, but his kick went wide. Bogotá's Juan Quinche saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 36 minutes. 42 minutes into the match Rubén Candelo put Bogotá ahead 2:0 with a truly marvelous free kick. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased Bogotá's lead to 3:0 as Elliott Buchholz finished it off competently, firing from an acute angle. Bogotá's Ismael Abel refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 44 minutes. 3:0 was the halftime score. Bogotá claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 66 percent.

IMFC needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 46 minutes Horacio Alperovich made way for Eduard Ignatiev. IMFC was now without a captain, so it was left to Andreas Rørtveit to take the captain's armband. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Bogotá's Elliott Buchholz putting the lead up to 4:0. Bogotá's players now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. With 66 minutes played, the IMFC coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. Jason Ortega came on, Bartosz Piwoński had to leave the fray. Usually a powerful player on the field, Frane Klanjčić looked kind of pale and tired under the hot sun. Juan Quinche increased Bogotá's lead to 5:0, putting a header away on a hooked ball from the right. Cheers filled the stadium as Luis Carlos Camelo broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the 6:0 goal for Bogotá. Bogotá held the ball, with a clear 66 percent of possession.

Rubén Candelo performed admirably for Bogotá. However, Gyula Sándor made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating IMFC player was without a doubt Andreas Rørtveit. Cristiano Boisio on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 6:0.

   IRON MAIDEN SFC 0:5 IRON MAIDEN XI (364288102)

  15.2.2012, played at Silesian Bazaly

  1163 punters turned up at Silesian Bazaly, and despite threatening clouds on the

horizon, no rain came. IMFC started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. They fielded: Piwoński - Alperovich,

Doberstein, Klanjčić - Costantino, Udrescu, Pescatori, Klimasz, Artner - Boisio, Musi.

MAIDEN XI decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. The following players took the field: Painceiras - Welo,

Ocón, Stoischek, Carroz - Molares, Moreiro, Rada Martínez, Zúñiga García - Del Bosque, Pérez.

Chus García de la Plata took his place. 1 minutes into the game, MAIDEN XI wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Tantín Rada Martínez gave Pablo Santiago a quick hug as he left the field. As the 1 minute approached, the MAIDEN XI coach decided it was time for a substitution. Pablo Molares reluctantly made way for Américo Amat on the pitch. With 4 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. Ignacio Pérez put the ball away for 0:1.

18 minutes in, MAIDEN XI appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only poor. Nastasio Del Bosque increased MAIDEN XI's lead to 0:2 with a superb free kick strike that flew in just under the far top corner. After 28 minutes of game time, Pablo Santiago had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but Bartosz Piwoński was in the right place and tipped the ball to a corner. A thrilling play through the middle 36 minutes into the match gave MAIDEN XI's Américo Amat a chance to increase the lead, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0:3. MAIDEN XI's Jorge Ocón got himself booked for a foul. Frane Klanjčić was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so IMFC's Han Pappen had to come off the bench. 0:3 was the halftime score. MAIDEN XI claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

The MAIDEN XI players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a passable organisation when the game started again. After 66 minutes, IMFC switched Mirko Costantino with José Javier Hoffmann, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, IMFC's Łukasz Klimasz was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 66 minutes. Horst-Uwe Massow was given a chance to change things around. MAIDEN XI's Américo Amat was shown a yellow card after 70 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Andrea Musi's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for IMFC, he bravely continued in the match. Bartosz Piwoński got a fingertip on Ignacio Pérez's shot from the left 75 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. 79 minutes into the game, MAIDEN XI seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation. Some fine manoeuvring on the left led to a MAIDEN XI goal after 80 minutes, making it 0:4. Ignacio Pérez was noted down as the scorer. After 84 minutes, MAIDEN XI's Arturo Carroz burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0:5. After this, you could see that the players of MAIDEN XI were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. This half belonged to MAIDEN XI, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

Most important IMFC player was José Javier Hoffmann. Horacio Alperovich on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating MAIDEN XI player was without a doubt Ignacio Pérez. However, Américo Amat made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0:5.
